Plus, meet the world’s leading conservationists and learn how The Living Desert and our partners are working with communities to protect the unique plants and animals that call the desert home.
This year’s summit will spotlight desert tortoise conservation, community-based initiatives in Africa, training and cultivating the next generation of conservation leaders, and efforts to protect lions and other large carnivores. To further the impact of these programs, The Living Desert will award eleven conservation heroes a total of $160,000+ to support their work of goals of saving threatened and endangered species and ecosystems.
