While this has been a treasured exhibit for several decades, we are excited about what future changes will mean for our ability to care for Shedd’s aquatic residents and the environmental education available to provide for guests.

The animals of Caribbean Reef will be moving to a new habitat at Shedd, which dramatically expands in size and water volume – and in the process, giving guests an entirely new underwater immersive perspective of this beloved reef system with a 40-foot tunnel.
