It’s incredible to think that this bony structure is responsible for allowing animals to run, jump, and even fly!

Fun Facts and Trivia about Skeletons

The Importance of Skeletons in Nature and Wildlife

Skeletons play a vital role in the world of nature and wildlife. They not only support and protect animals’ bodies but also provide a wealth of information to scientists. Researchers can learn about an animal’s diet, locomotion, and even its evolutionary history by studying skeletons. The study of skeletons, known as osteology, has helped uncover many fascinating discoveries about the animal kingdom.
