The L.A. Zoo and Plaza de la Raza Cultural Center for the Arts & Education are excited to announce the third year of the Beloved Pets Ofrenda in observance of National Hispanic Heritage Month and Día de los Muertos. The ofrenda is designed to honor the memory of cherished animal companions who have passed away. All Zoo guests are welcome to place photos, drawings, and mementos of their pets on the ofrenda at the Zoo’s Front Entrance Plaza near Sea Life Cliffs. Each weekend through November 2, Zoo staff will be on-site from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to print and assist guests with their photos. Guests can also bring printed photos from home and place them on the ofrenda, Monday through Friday.
