Biogeographical Realms: Nearctic

The Nearctic realm spans most of North America, including Greenland and the highlands of Mexico. Ecosystems range from the tundra of northern Canada and Alaska to the deserts of the southwestern United States. Notable species include bison, brown (grizzly) bears, wolves, and bald eagles. This realm also sees seasonal migrations of species like the monarch butterfly.
