The Neotropical realm extends from southern Mexico through Central America to South America, including the Caribbean islands. It is home to many of the world's rainforests and boasts incredible biodiversity. Notable species include jaguars, sloths, anacondas, and various birds, including toucans and macaws. This realm also contains many species of primates, second only to the Indomalayan realm.
