Today marks a very special day for Millie the sea otter, as she turns 5 years old! Millie was rescued off the coast of Central California and taken to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. Since then, she has been playing an important role in helping to rehabilitate orphaned sea otter pups.
Millie is a great example of how animals can be given a second chance at life. She was found stranded and alone, but thanks to the help of dedicated animal care professionals, she now has a safe and loving home at the aquarium.
Millie’s story is one that should inspire us all. It reminds us that no matter what our circumstances may be, we can still make a difference in this world. Whether it’s through rescuing animals or helping those in need, we can all do something to make our world a better place.
Millie’s birthday celebration was shared on social media by the Aquarium of the Pacific with 2322 likes and 23 comments from fans who were excited to wish her well on her special day. The aquarium also shared videos of Millie’s annual exam and her 10th birthday celebration on Facebook and TikTok respectively.
We hope that Millie continues to have many more happy birthdays! We are so lucky to have such an amazing creature living among us, and we should take every opportunity we get to celebrate her life and accomplishments.
