We can’t get enough of showing love for our resident elephants, so Valentine’s Day has been a big event at The Sanctuary this week! Sissy and Nosey typically experience Valentine’s through their shared fence line, but this year was the first time they could revel in the holiday in a shared habitat space. Care Staff presented them with a delectable bamboo and hay-stuffed ball adorned with various fruits. Sissy, seemingly eager to indulge, rushed over to start the feast. Nosey soon joined, and although she accidentally knocked the bamboo stalks gently into Sissy, Sissy didn’t seem to mind — it was more for her to eat!
