Zoo Atlanta will double the conservation contribution generated by general admission in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Endangered Species Act from May 19-21. Each general admission generates 25 cents for the Zoo’s Conservation Fund through the Quarters for Conservation initiative. Still, an additional 25 cents will go to the Conservation Fund for a total conservation contribution of 50 cents during this period. The zoo has announced three projects that will benefit from Quarters for Conservation in 2023, including the Chinchilla Conservation Project in Chile, North American Songbird SAFE in North America, and the Sloth Conservation Project in Costa Rica.
