Happy Today we’d like to highlight the passionate animal care specialists who care for the critters who call Tropical Discovery and Stingray Cove™ home! Tropical Discovery staff comprises nine Animal Care Specialists with various interests and expertise. These animal experts care for over 300 species and 2,000 specimens of reptiles, amphibians, fish, invertebrates and mammals. Working in Tropical Discovery, you might be training a capybara, diving a fish exhibit, identifying boreal toads, or handling a venomous snake all in one day of work!
Stingray Cove™ animal care specialists include one part-time and four full-time staff members! Sydney and Caroline are new to aquatics keeping, while Alex and Becka have been in the field for 7-10 years. Kenin joined us part-time for the summer, forming a well-rounded team dedicated to the health and happiness of the elasmobranchs in our care!
