Hudson Feinberg ’26 is our Zooie of the Week! Hudson hails from Stamford, CT, and attended New Canaan Country School before he chose MillbrchoseI. I looked at a couple of day schools near home, as I was against going to boarding school. But as soon as I saw Millbrook, and saw everybody and how happy they were, and the connections they had with all the other kids, I thought it was super cool. I fell in love with Millbrook when I visited and toured the campus, and I thought it was a great place. Millbrook has a lot of school spirit, and I don’t know if there is at other schools. I think it’s just a super open one to be in.
Working at the zoo has been very different. It’s not an experience I’ve had before, but I think it’s super interesting. The zoo’s much more involved than working on the farm or in the recycling community service. So far, I’ve worked with the geckos and the galagos. Working at the zoo is not as crazy as you think it will be, but it’s a jump when you’re in it. I think it’s a cool ece for the kids because you can’t have it anywhere else. It’s super special to Millbrook, and I think it is a big part of the school and its culture.
My favorite classes are Global Geography with Mr. Whiting, Darkroom Photography with Ms. Larsen, and English with Mr. Kelly. And I play soccer,r, and squash in the fall in the winter.”
