For 31 days in July, 82 community members joined the SF Teaching Zoo Zero Wasters team to learn about the problems with plastic and take action to reduce their plastic consumption. This year, our Plastic Free EcoChallenge team finished in 10th place out of over 185 teams nationwide! Check out the impact 4,595 people had across 28 countries and 50 states/regions. Over 30,000 plastic bottles and 14,000 plastic straws were saved from going to landfill!
