Overview

The Brandywine Zoo is a small, city-managed zoo in the beautiful Brandywine Park in Wilmington, Delaware. Established in 1905, it spans 12 acres and is home to various animals from the Americas and temperate and tropical Asia. Despite its smaller size than many other zoos, the Brandywine Zoo provides an intimate and engaging experience for families and animal lovers.

Brandywine Zoo offers a unique, intimate experience where visitors can observe and learn about various animals, from red pandas and Andean condors to capybaras and pygmy goats. The zoo features a range of exhibits designed to mimic natural habitats, enhancing the well-being of the animals while providing an engaging viewing experience.
