Overview

Al Ain Zoo, also known as "Al Ain Wildlife Park & Resort" or simply "Al Ain Wildlife Park," is a 400-hectare (990-acre) zoo located in the foothills of Jebel Hafeet in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The zoo primarily features various ungulates and herbivores, focusing on Arabian antelopes. It also houses oryx, eland, gazelle, and lechwe species. A rare white lion and Nubian giraffes are among its notable inhabitants.

The zoo contains 68 species of mammals, 88 species of birds, and 35 species of reptiles. These animals are exhibited within 50 hectares of designated zoo housing areas. The facility emphasizes conservation and education through its curated animal collections. Al Ain Zoo is significant in regional biodiversity preservation and wildlife awareness.
