Overview

Established in 1909, the Fort Worth Zoo is the oldest continuous zoo site in Texas and one of the most respected zoos in the United States. Situated on 64 acres, the zoo houses more than 7,000 animals from around 500 species and is renowned for its dedication to conservation, education, and exceptional animal care.
