The Order Passeriformes is an incredibly diverse and dominant group of birds, constituting over half of all bird species. These birds, commonly known as perching birds, are easily identifiable by a unique foot structure that enables them to perch on branches and wires. They are widely distributed globally and exhibit various dietary habits, habitats, and behaviors unique to each species. Some of the most common groups of Passeriformes include finches, sparrows, and songbirds.
