He organized several scheduled feeding sessions to encourage people to visit the penguins before the harsh winter confined them indoors. Every opportunity to promote SANCCOB and share his passion for penguins was something Kevin seized with enthusiasm.
African penguins, also known as jackass penguins due to their donkey-like braying sound, are native to the coastal regions of South Africa and Namibia. These remarkable birds have adapted to the challenges of their environment by developing specialized feathers that help them withstand extreme heat and cold temperatures.
