Bennett’s Wallaby is a medium-sized marsupial native to Australia. It is also known as the red-necked wallaby and is part of the Macropodidae family, which includes kangaroos and other wallabies. Bennett’s wallabies have mostly tawny gray fur, with a white chest and belly, and a dark brown muzzle, paws and feet. They can reach up to 80 cm in height and weigh up to 18 kg.
One interesting fact about Bennett’s Wallaby is that they are able to survive in temperate climates outside of their native Australia. This has allowed them to be introduced into many different parts of the world including New Zealand, England, France, Germany, Scotland, Ireland and North America.
