Sea Lions in the Galápagos Islands are being introduced to the acrylic glass wall.
The animal care team at the Galápagos Islands sea lion habitat uses white stickers to help educate Jonah, the dominant male sea lion, about the acrylic glass walls that have been put up in their habitat. The stickers will help him understand that the acrylic is a wall he cannot swim through. The other eight California sea lions had learned about the walls before the habitat was opened, but Jonah, new to the habitat, is still getting comfortable.
