Overview

Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo, located in Bridgeport, Connecticut, is the only AZA-accredited zoo in the state. The zoo, founded in 1922, offers visitors a family-oriented recreational environment featuring diverse wildlife. Across its 52 acres, it houses over 350 animals, primarily North and South American species. The zoo focuses on preservation, education, and providing visitors with an engaging and unforgettable experience.

The visitor experience at Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo is designed to be immersive, engaging, and educational.
