Tulivu the Gorilla of Cincinnati Zoo
Tulivu is a western lowland gorilla at the Cincinnati Zoo and one of the most beloved residents there. She arrived in 2005 and quickly became part of the family. With her intelligence and zest for life, she quickly made friends with both the zookeepers and visitors to the zoo alike!
Aside from being intelligent, Tulivu is also incredibly expressive. Zookeepers have noted that she has an impressive range of facial expressions that communicate everything from curiosity to contentment – making it easy to see why she’s so popular at the zoo!
Tulivu loves playing with enrichment objects such as balls, mirrors or puzzle feeders. She always seems eager to learn new skills or entertain herself – giving everyone a good laugh! But besides even these activities, Tulivu also loves spending time with her family group which includes other gorillas and zookeepers alike.
