Georgia Aquarium: Unlocking the Wonders of Sea Life

The Georgia Aquarium is an amazing facility located in Atlanta, Georgia, showcasing more than 1 million gallons of underwater beauty from across the world. With over 123 different species from sharks and rays to jellyfish and otters, it’s a great place to get up close with some incredible creatures! Size

The aquarium is home to more than 10 million gallons of water spread across six galleries that allow visitors to experience aquatic life from all around the world. The enormous facility houses over 120,000 animals representing 500 different species including beluga whales, dolphin shows, sea lions and penguins. It also features the world’s largest indoor aquarium with an impressive 5.7-million gallon Ocean Voyager exhibit which houses whale sharks, manta rays and other exotic sea creatures.

Animals

Georgia Aquarium has a wide variety of animals which can be seen during their visit like sea turtles, eels, starfish, seahorses among others. Guests will also have the chance to observe some rare and endangered species such as dugong and manatees in the Cold Water Quest gallery or albino alligators in the River Scout Gallery.
